Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
Our Catholic school is part of St Vincent’s Parish. We work in partnership with our local parish priest, Fr Joti in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school.
St Vincent’s College, provides students in primary school with the opportunity to receive the Sacraments through the parish sacramental programs administered by the parish sacramental team and the family educator. Additionally, St Vincent’s Ashfield parish offers an RCIA program for students and staff in the precinct who wish to explore initiation into the Catholic faith. Year 11 students are also trained as assistant catechists, supporting the parish catechist program in spreading the faith to Catholic students in local state schools.
The College also supports St Vincent’s parish outreach and social justice initiatives including: St Vincent de Paul Winter and Christmas appeals, St Vincent de Paul Night Patrol and Brekky Van.
