Raymond Martin – Principal
Ray, as foundation principal, is committed to ensuring that all students experience growth in their learning and are adequately challenged and supported to achieve their potential in a safe and supportive environment. Most recently Ray has been the Principal of Marist Catholic College Penshurst, where he has shown he can lead a nurturing, positive community delivering excellent academic results through focused, explicit teaching and student-centred learning.
Petah Foran – Dean of Mission
Petah brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as the Dean of Mission. She has over 25 years’ experience as a specialist Religious Education Teacher working in both single sex and co-educational environments, in both independent and systemic schools within the Sydney Archdiocese, Parramatta Diocese and the Wollongong Diocese. Petah is currently the President of the Association for Studies of Religion.
Nicholas Brierley – Dean of Early Years
Nicholas is passionate about empowering children to be happy and engaged lifelong achievers, with a focus on personal growth, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. He has been teaching and leading in Sydney Catholic Schools for almost 15 years and he comes to us from Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Mosman where he was the Assistant Principal.
With a proud family history of connectedness to the St Vincent’s Parish and Catholic schools in Ashfield, Nicholas is looking forward to working with students, parents, teachers and the St Vincent’s College Ashfield community.
Ana O‘Reilly – Dean of Middle Years
Ana is a passionate senior educator with over 20 years’ experience teaching in varied educational settings including independent schools, non-denominational, multi-faith, and faith-based settings as well as single-sex and co-educational settings. Throughout this time Ana has been responsible for both academic and wellbeing portfolios and most recently she has been involved in the delivery of the International Baccalaureate as the leader of the Middle Years Program at Cranbrook School.
Robert Di Mauro – Head of Operations
Robert is the current Director of Administration and Curriculum at De La Salle College Ashfield. His strong leadership skills coupled with his passion for teaching (especially Mathematics!) and understanding of the operations of a school from all levels gives Robert a holistic approach to his new role as Head of Operations for St Vincent’s College Ashfield. He is currently undertaking a Master of Education in Leadership and has held leadership roles in Sydney Catholic Schools for over ten years.
